He was tempted in every way but was not deceived by His enemy. Instead, He gave His life as ransom for those who were lost, so that they could have life in the light of His Kingdom. Janette’s lifelong journey is anchored in her desire to know Christ deeply and to share His love with others. Together with her college sweetheart, Walt, she founded Teagan’s Heart—a nonprofit organization—and Black Marlin Real Estate, creating platforms that make therapeutic sailing accessible to those seeking emotional healing, especially individuals navigating grief or living with PTSD.
The loss of their only daughter, Teagan, marked a profound turning point. In the midst of grief, Janette experienced the Holy Spirit pouring into her a fierce love and revealing the mysteries of our Heavenly Father and the heart of her King — Jesus Christ — like never before. Though she doesn’t consider herself a prolific writer, the depth of love and grace she encountered compelled her to share her story. Through her words, she hopes to offer a glimpse into the boundless love that transformed her life.
